Divine Inspiration



The documentary Divine Inspiration was inspired by the series of work Pantanassa, a collaboration between the artist Mary Plant and artist/icon painter Evanthia Kouma. The series sets out to examine the various epithets of the goddess Aphrodite and the Virgin Mary and to discover any connections.
In the documentary experts talk and highlight these concerns with an emphasis on the connections.
The documentary was produced by Mary Plant and No Make Up Productions in 2011 and runs for 26 minutes. Language, primarily English and where Greek is spoken there are English subtitles.
